Tragic Accident Claims Lives in Gonda :
Today in Gonda, a tragic accident occurred resulting in fatalities and injuries. An SUV from the convoy of Karan Bhushan Singh, the BJP candidate for the Kesarganj Lok Sabha seat and son of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh from the Wrestling Federation of India’s ex-chief, collided with a bike. The bodies have been sent for postmortem to gather more information. The incident happened around 9 am in Colonel Ganj, Gonda district, leading to the unfortunate demise of both riders, one aged 17 and the other 24. The speeding car struck both individuals on the bike, leading to their untimely death.

Witnesses present at the scene described the aftermath of the accident. Sunil ji, an eyewitness, mentioned the car’s high speed causing significant damage, with at least 15 pillars being struck. Despite the tragedy, questions arise regarding Karan Bhushan Singh’s presence in the convoy and the car, especially given its registration under Nandi Nandini.

Individuals present at the site shared their accounts. Sanjay Pandey ji, present at a nearby shop, recounted the incident. The convoy, associated with Karan Bhushan Sharan Singh, resulted in the tragic death of four individuals. The convoy was on its way from Kaiserganj to Huzurpur in Gonda district when the collision occurred.
The ASP of Gonda provided official information, stating that the truck involved in the accident has been impounded, with the driver arrested. Legal action has been initiated through an FIR filed on the same day. Police received reports of the accident around 9 o’clock, leading to the immediate transportation of the injured to CSC Colonelganj. Unfortunately, both individuals succumbed to their injuries, prompting post-mortem procedures and the registration of a case under relevant sections.
The incident has left the community in mourning, emphasizing the importance of road safety measures. As investigations continue and legal actions are taken, the focus remains on seeking justice for the victims and ensuring such incidents are prevented in the future.
