Australia created a stir in the first match of the Women’s Under-19 T-20 World Cup. Australia first bowled out Scotland for just 48 runs. After this, they registered a big victory by chasing the target in the seventh over.

New Delhi. The Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup has started from today on Malaysian soil. The World Cup will be played in four stadiums in Malaysia. The first match of this World Cup was Australia vs Scotland. In which Australia has crushed Scotland badly and made a great start to this World Cup.

The first match of the Under-19 World Cup between Scotland and Australia was played at the Yasad-Ukam Cricket Ground. Batting first, Scotland’s performance was very ordinary and they were all out for just 48 runs. From Scotland, 3 batsmen were out on 0. And the entire team could not even play 20 overs and was all out in just 15.1 overs.

For Scotland, Emma Walshingham scored the maximum 12 runs. Apart from him, Charlotte Nevard scored double digits. If we talk about Australia’s bowling, all the bowlers were economical. The team’s star bowler and captain Eleanor Larosa took 3 wickets for just 7 runs in 3 overs. Bray bowled 3.1 overs and took 3 wickets after scoring 1 run. Same Hasrat Gill took 2 wickets for 10 runs in 2 overs.

Australia team, chasing the target, achieved this score in just 6.4 overs by losing only 1 wicket. For Australia, opener Kate Pele batted brilliantly and scored 29 runs in just 18 balls with the help of 1 four and 3 sixes. Whereas Ines scored 12 runs in 20 balls which included 1 four and one six. However, Innes was out for 12 runs and Kate along with Hamilton gave the team a great victory.
