Poco to Launch X7 Series in India Next Week

Chinese smartphone maker Poco’s X7 series will be launched in India soon. This may include Poco X7 and X7 Pro. Some leaked information has been received about these smartphones. The base variant of this series can have MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra as the processor.

The company has launched a Post It is reported that the X7 series will be launched on January 9. These smartphones will be sold through e-commerce site Flipkart. Himanshu Tandon, chief of the company’s unit in the country, in another post on X has confirmed that there will be no ‘Neo’ variant in this smartphone series. MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra can be given as processor in Poco X7 and MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra can be given in X7 Pro. Both these smartphones may have HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.

The base variant of this series can have a 6.67 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The X7 Pro may feature a 6.67-inch CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED display with 2,560 Hz touch sampling rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness level. The X7 may have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and 2x optical zoom. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera can be provided in X7 Pro. The base variant of this smartphone series can have a 5,110 mAh battery and the Pro model can have a 6,000 mAh battery.

Recently Poco introduced C75 in the international market. This is a rebranded version of Redmi 14C launched in August. This smartphone has MediaTek Helio G8 Ultra as its processor. The C75 from Xiaomi sub-brand Poco has up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. This smartphone has been made available in Gold, Green and Black colors. The dual SIM (Nano) C75 runs on HyperOS based on Android 14. The smartphone features a 6.88-inch HD+ (720 x 1,640 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 600 nits. Poco’s sales in the mid-range of smartphones have increased rapidly in the last few years.
