Indra Vikram Singh was born on 15 June 1969 in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. His education life was not as comfortable, but he never gave up. He passed the UP PCS exam in 1994 and joined UP Civil Services. In 2010, he got promotion in IAS from PCS. His career has been excellent in many districts, and he showed excellence in administrative services.

Indra Vikram Singh has worked in many important districts. From 2013 to 2017, he was the Municipal Commissioner of Agra, then in 2017 he became the District Magistrate of Shamli district. In 2018, he served as Aceo (Additional Chief Electoral Officer) of Noida and served as the District Magistrate of Ballia in Shahjahanpur in 2019, 2022. He was transferred to Aligarh in 2022 and then he has been DM of Ghaziabad.
Old relationship between Indra Vikram Singh and Aligarh
Indra Vikram Singh has a deep connection with Aligarh. In 2000, he was SDM of Cole, Atrauli and Iglas tehsils in Aligarh. In 2008, he was appointed to the post of ADM (Finance and Revenue) in Aligarh. Later he got the post of Secretary of Aligarh Development Authority. In 2010, he got promotion in IAS from PCS, which strengthened his administrative career.
Famous to work in public interest
Indra Vikram Singh is known for his simplicity and work for the public. He often conducts raids in government offices and is appreciated for his working style. A few years ago, a picture of him went viral on social media, in which he was sitting on the ground and listening to the problems of a disabled person. Both legs of that person were not working due to any disease, and he needed money for treatment. Indra Vikram Singh immediately gave him a check of Rs 13,000 and helped him.
