The BDA bulldozer was at work again: BDA destroyed four unauthorized colonies, as construction was happening without approved plans. The crackdown on illegal colonies in Bareilly continues. On Saturday, the BDA bulldozer was active in Izzatnagar. Four illegal colonies were taken down here.

In Bareilly, the fight against illegal colonies goes on. On Saturday, BDA used a bulldozer to tear down 20,000 square meters of three builders’ illegal colonies under construction in Izzatnagar. After buying land from farmers at low prices, the builders were constructing without approved plans. BDA Vice President Manikandan A said that Ikram Beg was building about three colonies in Rahpura Chaudhary of Izzatnagar on 7,000, 5,000, and 4,000 square meters, while Nihal and Haji Waseem were building an illegal colony on 4,000 square meters. They did not have BDA’s approval for the plans.

The demolition was carried out by assistant engineer Harish Chaudhary, Laxman Singh Rawat, and the enforcement team, which included junior engineers. According to BDA Vice President Manikandan A, one should check with the authority’s main office before buying plots or similar properties.
