IND vs AUS: Before Sydney Test, Kangaroo team captain Pat Cummins played mind game, said this for Jasprit Bumrah

The Australian team has taken an unassailable 2-1 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The last Test match of the five-match Test series will be played in Sydney from 3 February. Even though the Kangaroo team is leading 2-1 in the series, captain Pat Cummins has made it clear that this will not affect the team’s energy in the Sydney Test and his team will go out with the intention of winning 3-1. Australia has not touched the 10-year-old Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but if Sydney draws or wins the Test, it will capture the trophy. If India wins, the series will be tied at 2-2 and being the guest, the trophy will remain in India’s possession.
Australia have taken a step closer to winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after winning the Boxing Day Test by 184 runs in 2014-15. Cummins said that it is good to be ahead in the series. You play every Test match with the intention of winning and it is no different here. He said that I am very happy with the team’s performance in the last three Tests. We showed that we are strong contenders for victory and this week too our aim is to win. He admitted that there are some issues facing the team.
He said that, there is no doubt that on some occasions we wanted to score more runs. In the last Test in Melbourne, we should have taken a lead of 400-500 runs. We were in such a good position, but that’s Test cricket. Cummins said that the pitch at Sydney Cricket Ground is different from the traditional pitch which helps spinners and batsmen.
He also said that, it is different from the traditional pitch of SCG. The two Sheffield Shield matches here this year were good and the teams were happy with the wickets. This will help the bowlers and the batsmen will also be able to score runs. It will be easy to bat on for some time and eventually it will be helpful for the spinners. I have played a few Tests here but have played only ODIs, so I am not a specialist.
Cummins said about Jasprit Bumrah that he is bowling very well. It is difficult to face him. He said that, hopefully, when I come out to bat, it will be evening and he will have bowled a lot so that it will be easier for me. I have faced him in different formats but he is difficult to face.
