Honda introduced two new prototypes at CES 2025, which look like they came from a sci-fi movie. The Japanese vehicle manufacturer has shown the Honda 0 Sedan and Honda 0 SUV prototypes and the company’s according toboth these models are almost ready to enter their production phase. The new 0 Series saloon closely resembles the company’s concept vehicle from last year, while the SUV prototype looks a lot like the 2024 Space Hub concept on the outside with a crossover-style body.
Honda says that the final production models of these prototypes will be available for purchase in North America in 2026. 0 The SUV will be the first EV of the two to hit US roads in the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, the 0 Sedan will be introduced in mid-2026.
Visually, Honda 0 models look different from traditional EVs. The Honda 0 Sedan sports a futuristic look with a cab-forward design and low-slung wedge shape. Compared to the concept version with retracting cover, it has larger headlights.
At the same time, the 0 SUV has a black panel at the front which is equipped with pixelated headlights and an illuminated Honda logo. To give it a muscular look, there is a thick bumper at the front which has vents to cool the battery. The SUV gets a two-tone look with a raked windshield and black roof. The brand has given thick D-pillars in the SUV while the rear windshield is very thin. It has U-shaped tail lamps at the rear.
Both electric cars are likely to get a powertrain consisting of a rear- and all-wheel-drive system with a 241hp electric motor, which is expected to offer a range of 483 km. These vehicles will come with Level 3 autonomous driving that allows the driver to watch movies or attend calls while on driving duty.
