The match saw a heated argument between Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah and Australian young bowler Sam Constas, which heated up the atmosphere of the match.
Tension increased between Constas and Bumrah
On the first day of the match, the Indian team, batting first, was all out for 185 runs. The most runs for India were scored by Rishabh Pant, who scored an inning of 40 runs. Whereas Australian bowler Scott Boland bowled brilliantly and took four wickets for 31 runs.
After this, when the Australian team came to bat, Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah strengthened India’s hold by taking a wicket in the very first over. Meanwhile, tension increased between Bumrah and Constas. When Khawaja was trying to trouble the Indian bowlers with his slow batting, there was a heated argument between Bumrah and Constas, after which the umpire had to come between the two.
Bumrah dismissed Khawaja on the very next ball and then celebrated without hesitation in front of Constas, which brought a new turn in the match.
