News is coming that new rules were brought to prevent China and other adversaries from having access to the most advanced semiconductors.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan had talked about removing the entity list. Only after a week the news is coming that America has removed the list of rules and restrictions on many important nuclear institutions of India. The US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has removed three Indian nuclear institutions, Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research (IGCAR) and Indian Rare Earths Limited (IREL) from its ‘Entity List’. At the same time, America has kept its strategic partner India out of the list of 18 countries that are allowed unrestricted access to advanced AI chips.
Who is in the entity list?
