New Delhi. Jasprit Bumrah has also created history in the ICC rankings after taking 32 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. Jassi has reached a record 908 points in the latest ICC rankings. Bumrah is the first Indian to achieve so many rating points in Test ranking. He has broken his own record. In the latest rankings, Ryan Rickleton among batsmen and Scott Boland among bowlers have made huge gains.

ICC released the rankings on Wednesday. Jasprit Bumrah remains number-1 as before. Last week he was at number one with 907 rating points. He then became the first Indian to achieve 907 rating points. Before him, the record of highest rating was in the name of Ravichandran Ashwin (904). Pat Cummins and Kagiso Rabada have gained one place each in the latest rankings. Cummins is now at second and Rabada at third. Josh Hazlewood is at fourth and Marco Yansen is at fifth. Scott Boland, who played an important role in defeating India, has jumped 29 places. Scott Boland took 21 wickets in the series and due to this he has come in the top 10. Boland’s latest ranking is 9.

Root first, Yashasvi at number three
Rishabh Pant, Babar Azam and Temba Bavuma have gained in the ranking of batsmen. Rishabh Pant, who played innings of 61 and 40 runs in the Sydney Test, has reached ninth position in the ranking of batsmen. Yashasvi Jaiswal has the best ranking among Indian batsmen. He is at number three. England’s Joe Root remains at first and Harry Brook at second.

Richlton jumped 48 places
South Africa’s Ryan Rickleton has jumped 48 places in the rankings for batsmen. With this he has reached number 55. He scored a double century in the second test against Pakistan. Temba Bavuma, who scored a century in the same match, has moved up three places to sixth position, which is also the best ranking of his career. Pakistan’s Babar Azam has moved from 17th to 12th position after scoring fifties in both the innings of the second Test against South Africa.
