New Delhi: The Middle East is completely in the throes of war. Iran, Israel, Hamas and Hezbollah are wreaking havoc. On the other hand, Russia and Ukraine are also bent on destroying each other. Meanwhile, once again India has appealed for peace from the warring countries. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference is being held in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. On this occasion, PM Modi gave a direct message to Russia-Israel. He said that the future is not in war, but in Buddha. The 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas was started by PM Modi today i.e. Thursday. During this, PM Modi also thanked all the Indian immigrants.

Actually, PM Modi was in Odisha on Thursday. Here he addressed the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference. PM Modi also used this platform to maintain peace in the world. He did not take the name of Israel and Russia directly. But by talking about war and Buddha, a clear message was definitely sent. PM Modi said in his address, ‘Odisha is a symbol of India’s rich heritage. Heritage can be seen at every step in Odisha. In Odisha, Emperor Ashoka had chosen the path of peace when there was a time to expand the empire by the power of the sword. That is why India is able to tell the world that the future lies not in war but in Buddha.

Modi’s message to Russia-Ukraine-Israel
PM Modi’s comment that ‘the future lies not in war but in Buddha’ is very important in today’s global perspective. Currently, war has been going on between Russia and Ukraine for more than two years. The whole world has seen the devastation in both the countries. Still, no one knows when the war will end. There have been intermittent efforts to establish peace at the global level. Despite this, success has not been achieved. India has also tried its best. PM Modi even met Putin and Zelensky for this. Explained to both of them and also warned about the consequences of war. But till now both have not been able to agree. On the other hand, Israel is also fighting a war on many fronts simultaneously. Its war continues with Hezbollah and Hamas from Lebanon, Palestine to Iran.

What did PM Modi say to the migrants?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Indian-origin families from all over the world on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. He said that Mahakumbh is starting in Prayagraj in a few days. Many festivals are coming. The festive atmosphere is everywhere. On this day in 1915, Mahatma Gandhi came to India. He further said that the overseas Indian community is India’s national ambassador to the world. Wherever Indians go, they serve that country and respect its rules. With all this, India keeps beating in our hearts. The speed at which 21st century India is progressing is unprecedented. In ten years, India has brought twenty-five crore people out of poverty. In 10 years, India has become the fifth largest economy from the tenth largest economy. The day when India will become the third largest economy is not far.

Modi’s plan on indentured labor
He further said, the world listens carefully to what India says. India strongly raises the voice of the Global South. India is expanding its global role. A data base should be prepared on indentured brothers and sisters in the world. How indentured servants went out and made their mark. Research and a film can be made on his legacy. I will ask my team to explore this possibility.
