Big news has come on NCC Limited in the beginning of the new year itself. On Wednesday i.e. January 1, 2025, the company said that it has won orders worth ₹ 349.7 crore in December 2024.
The company said that this order has been received from a private company and it belongs to the building division, which does not involve any internal order. The project will be completed in 32 months, the company said without giving further details.
Nirad Sharma, Head-Strategy, NCC, confirmed that the company is moving strongly towards its 2024-25 (FY25) order inflow target of ₹20,000-22,000 crore. We had set a target in this range at the beginning of this financial year and we have already achieved about 55-60% of the lower level, he said, expressing confidence with stakeholders about our target. The company had also received the Letter of Approval (LoA) from the Ken-Betwa Link Project Authority on November 28.
NCC has won the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract worth ₹3,389.49 crore for Daudhan Dam under the Ken-Betwa link project. This domestic project will be completed within 72 months, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Shares of NCC Limited closed at ₹274.2 per share with a rise of 1.44% on Tuesday i.e. December 31. This stock has gained a profit of 64.64% in the last year.
