Zomato: Company’s co-founder and Chief People Officer Aakriti Chopra resigned after a long tenure of 13 years. Zomato informed this to the stock exchange on September 27. Aakriti was made the co-founder of the company at the time of its IPO in 2021. Zomato shares closed 2.08% lower at Rs 278 on Friday.

Reliance Infrastructure: Calcutta High Court has approved the arbitration award of ₹780 crore against Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). The court rejected DVC’s appeal. On Friday, the company’s shares closed 0.027% lower at Rs 328.70.

PNB: Punjab National Bank raises Rs 5,000 crore through QIP. The shares were issued at a price of ₹103.75 per share, which is 4.96% below the floor price. PNB shares remained stable on Friday.

Welspun Enterprises: Welspun Enterprises made the lowest bid for BMC’s contract worth ₹1,989.9 crore. On Friday, the company’s shares closed 1.56% lower at Rs 555.20.

Zydus Lifesciences: Zydus has received approval from USFDA for Enzalutamide capsules, which is useful for prostate cancer. Zydus shares closed 0.53% higher at Rs 1,073.65 on Friday.

LIC: LIC reduced its stake in Mahanagar Gas by 2% in the open market. LIC has sold about 21 lakh shares.

Apollo Hospitals: Apollo Hospitals will buy 16.9% stake in its subsidiary Apollo HealthCo for ₹2,475 crore. On Friday, the company’s shares closed at Rs 7,249, up 1.13%.

Biocon: USFDA completes inspection of Biocon’s API plant, issues four objections. On Friday, Biocon shares closed 0.78% lower at Rs 369.95.

Lupin: USFDA has issued three objections to Lupin’s Pithampur plant. Lupine shares remained marginally stable on Friday.

Adani Enterprises: Adani Group’s joint venture unit bought 74% stake in Cococart Ventures for Rs 200 crore. Adani shares closed 0.48% higher at Rs 3,137.65 on Friday.

Tata Motors: Tata Motors has laid the foundation stone of a new manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, which will entail an investment of Rs 9,000 crore. Tata Motors shares closed 0.33% lower at Rs 989.90 on Friday.

Dr. Reddy’s:The company has invested $620 million in its subsidiary based in Switzerland. Dr Reddy’s shares remained stable on Friday.

IDFC FIRST Bank:The bank completed its merger with IDFC Ltd, which will be effective from October 1, 2024. Shareholders will get the benefits of the merger till October 10, 2024.

BEL: Joint venture between Bharat Electronics Limited and Israel Aerospace Industries has been approved. On Friday, BEL shares closed at Rs 293, up more than 1%.

Adani Energy: A subsidiary of Adani Energy signed a business transfer agreement with North Maharashtra Power Limited. On Friday, the company’s shares closed 2.38% lower at Rs 1,012.
