Yahya Sinwar Dead: Target or coincidence… How Israel killed Yahya Sinwar, know the inside story

New Delhi: The end has begun in the Israel-Hamas war. Israel has taken revenge from Hamas on 7 October. After Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah, Israel has now killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. The death of Yahya Sinwar, notorious as Gaza’s bin Laden, has been confirmed. However, Israel has not targeted and killed him. Rather, he died by chance. Israel claimed on Thursday that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed in a military operation in Gaza. It was also claimed that he was not the real target of this mission. The Israeli army had no idea that Yahya Sinwar was present in the building where they were conducting military operations.

Know the inside story of Sinwar’s demise
According to a report by The Times of Israel, during the operation conducted on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers noticed that several fighters of the Palestinian group entered a building. The Israeli soldiers were stunned by this. They immediately launched an airstrike on that building. Some part of the building collapsed in this bombing. When the Israeli army later investigated and identified the bodies, they were shocked. There was no limit to his happiness. Because their enemy number one was also among those dead bodies. Israel says that Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the attack on Israel on October 7, was killed along with two other people. The war in Gaza started only after the Hamas attack on 7 October. The identity of the other two people killed has not been revealed yet.

Yahya Sinwar died by chance
At the same time, Israel’s Kan Radio said that Yahya Sinwar was not killed as part of an intelligence operation but by chance. According to The Guardian report, the radio station also said that cash and fake IDs were recovered from the spot where the bodies were found. The IDF, or Israel Defense Forces, announced on Thursday that Yahya Sinwar was killed by its soldiers in southern Gaza a day earlier.

What became the cause of death?
“Dozens of operations have been conducted by the IDF and ISA (Shin Bet Internal Security Agency) over the past year and in recent weeks in the area where it was eliminated,” the IDF said. Due to these operations, Yahya Sinwar’s movement was restricted as Israeli soldiers were chasing him and this led to his death. Yahya Sinwar was on the top of Israel’s most wanted list since the Israel-Hamas war started a year ago. His death has dealt a huge blow to the terrorist organization. However, Hamas has not yet confirmed his death.

Israel’s enemy number 1 killed
Yahya Sinwar replaced former Hamas chief Ismail Haniya in August. Ismail Haniya was killed in an explosion in Iran in July. Both Iran and the Palestinian group had blamed Israel for the incident. However, Israel has not commented on Haniya’s death. Israel announced the elimination of Sinwar a few weeks after the assassination of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon. Israeli forces have been engaged in conflict in Lebanon since the end of September. On the assassination of Yahya Sinwar, Benjamin Netanyahu said that this is not the end of the war, but the beginning of the end of the war.
