New Delhi. The third Test played between India and Australia in Brisbane ended in a draw. This match was badly affected by rain. Only 24.1 overs were played on the last day of the match. After this both the teams agreed to a draw. Only about 200 overs could be played in the match. Australia scored 445 runs in its first innings. In reply, India scored 260 runs. After this match, the points (PCT) of both the teams have decreased in the WTC points table. After this match, India and Australia are tied at 1-1 in the Border Gavaskar Trophy Test series.

The India-Australia series is very important from the point of view of the World Test Championship (WTC). There is a change in the WTC point table after every match. A win or loss changes the ranking of the teams. Neither team won nor lost in the India-Australia match. Due to this, there has not been much change in the point table. Both the teams are maintaining their previous ranking. However, the marks of both have definitely reduced.
