By winning all four matches from Group A, Australia has secured a place in the next round by staying on top. Apart from this, no other team has got the ticket for the semi-finals till now. 3 teams have been eliminated from the tournament while 6 teams are still in the race for the last 3 semi-final seats. India, New Zealand and Pakistan are competing from Group A while England, South Africa and West Indies are contesting from Group B.

With the victory against India in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on Sunday, Australia made it to the semi-finals. Even after the defeat, India still has a chance to go to the semi-finals. Everything will depend on the result of the match between New Zealand and Pakistan. If the New Zealand team wins, it will directly qualify for the next round with 6 points with 3 wins from 4 matches, whereas if Pakistan wins by 53 runs, it will go to the semi-finals on the basis of net run rate. Its victory by 45 to 51 runs will take India ahead on the basis of net run rate.
