New DelhiThe Khumari of winning the T20 Under-19 World Cup was not yet to come down that the dates of the Tustut Cricket’s biggest tournament Women Premier League were announced. Women’s Premier League (WPL 2025) will start from 14 February. This time the third season of the tournament will be played. The last season was won by the Bangalore team led by Mandhana.
WPL will be in a total of four cities including Lucknow as compared to season 3. The previous season was played in only two cities. So let’s know what will be the entire schedule of the tournament and in addition to which cities will be matched. Let us know that a total of 22 matches will be played in the third season of the tournament. This time also 5 teams will participate, between which it will be held.
Premier League before Champions Trophy
The enthusiasm of the fans about the Champions Trophy was still climbing that the BCCI announced the dates of the Women’s Premier League. WPL 2025 matches will be played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The first match of the tournament will be played between defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat giants. This match will be held in Vadodara. According to Indian time, all the matches will start from 7:30 pm. The Women’s Premier League started in 2023. All the matches of the first season were played on only two venue in Mumbai. Then the next season took place in two cities as compared to the tournament. This time i.e. in 2025, the realm was further extended, due to which the matches will be in 4 cities. It is clear that BCCI Women also wants to promote cricket like IPL and that is why the number of vans is being increased.
