A show cause notice has been issued to S Sreesanth.
New Delhi. Fast bowler S Sreesanth, member of the World Cup winning team, has been engulfed in trouble. This former Pesar of Team India has been accused of wrong rhetoric against the Cricket Association of his own state. The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), allegedly angry with S Sreesanth’s remarks in support of wicketkeeper Sanju Samson, has issued a show cause notice to him. KCA had recently commented on the state cricket body and Samson during a panel discussion on a Malayalam TV channel. After which, a show cause notice was issued to Sreesanth, who won the World Cup twice with the Indian team.
KCA said in a statement issued on Friday that Sreesanth has nothing to do with the Samesan case. He has been sent this notice for misleading and derogatory remarks against this union. Sreesanth, during the TV discussion, allegedly promised to give his support to Samson. He vowed to protect KCA in the dock for not being selected in the state team and protecting him and other players of Kerala.

‘Sreesanth was not acquitted of match -fixing case’
Sreesanth made this comment when the State Cricket Board is facing criticism for excluding the wicketkeeper of the Indian T20 team from the Kerala team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. It is believed that this has affected their chances of being selected for India’s Champions Trophy team. KCA also said that the former fast bowler has not been acquitted of the match fixing case yet. KCA said that Sreesanth is a co-owner of Kerala Cricket League franchise and derogatory comment against KCA is a violation of the contract related to it.
‘No need to save anyone else like Sreesanth’
The statement said, “The Kerala Cricket Association has always stood with its players.” The State Cricket Board said that it had given full support to Sreesanth, who faced match -fixing allegations. According to the statement, ‘No other players from Kerala need to be selected like Sreesanth’.
