Think ten times before parking at Delhi Airport!

A strange incident was witnessed at Delhi airport. Delhi resident Deepak Gosain thought that just like he parks his car in Delhi Metro, he will park his car at the airport and leave. The maximum bill he would get would be Rs. 500. But this was too much when Deepak Gosain found out that the bill was Rs. 500 and GST of Rs. 880 was also levied on it. But the matter did not stop here. Paying the bill was also not a big deal. Deepak Gosain found out that the gate of his car was broken and the entire car was also scratched.

Deepak has expressed all his anger by posting on his ex.

Deepak wrote that he had parked his car at the Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) of Terminal 3 on August 17. When he returned on August 26, he was surprised to see a bill of Rs 4,889.83 for parking charges and Rs 880.17 for GST.

Deepak wrote that the cost of parking was more expensive than the round-trip flight from Delhi to Lucknow, which can be as low as Rs 2,836. After Deepak’s post, people have started wondering whether it is really a right decision to park the car at Delhi airport and travel for five days.

Very few people know that parking charges at Terminal 3 increase the longer a vehicle is parked. It starts at Rs 120 for the first 30 minutes, goes up to Rs 170 for the next 30 minutes, and then goes up to Rs 100 per hour for up to five hours. After that, it goes up to Rs 600 for 24 hours. Gosain’s nine-day parking stint cost him a hefty bill. His post about the issue has now been deleted.
