New Delhi. Russia’s new business center was inaugurated on Tuesday in the national capital Delhi. The main objective of the opening of the Russian Business Center in Delhi amid the war between Russia and Ukraine is to promote trade between the two countries. India and Russia have set a target of taking the trade to 100 billion dollars by the year 2030. Russia’s new business center in Delhi will help in achieving this goal.
Apart from senior Russian officials, Russian MLA of Indian origin Abhay Kumar Singh was also present at the inauguration of the Russian Business Center in Delhi. Russian officials have expressed hope of increasing trade between India and Russia from the new business center.
Abhay Kumar Singh, the only MLA of Indian origin present in Putin’s party, targeted western countries and praised India. During this time, he took the Western countries to task on the Russia-Ukraine war and said that not every problem can be solved through talks, like Ladakh and POK can’t be solved.
‘India and Russia’s trade will go far ahead’
Abhay Kumar Singh, in a special conversation with News18 India, said that with the opening of the Russian Business Centre, the trade between India and Russia will go far ahead. Other steps will also be taken in the future. He said, ‘Western countries have imposed more than 5000 sanctions on Russia, some Indian companies are also among them. But despite so many restrictions, the economies of India and Russia are stable and growing.
Abhay Kumar Singh also said, ‘The economies of the countries which imposed sanctions on Russia have been ruined. The condition of England is bad. The condition of France is weak. Germany’s position is weak. He says that not only the economic but also the political situation is the weakness of these countries. He said, ‘In Britain, Rishi Sunak, who had supported the Ukraine war, is gone, in Germany Olaf Scholz’s party has come into minority. Macro also weakened in France. Biden’s government is gone in America.
‘India is a friendly country of Russia’
The Russian legislator said, ‘It was a very good decision of India not to support the war. Russia has its own stand. India is a friendly country of Russia. In such a situation, if India makes any statement or Prime Minister Modi makes any statement, Russia views this statement as important.
Putin’s MLA Singh, who originally hails from Bihar, says. ‘India can play a role in ending Russia’s wars. I myself am from the land of Lord Buddha (Bihar). We always want peace. There can be no better solution than peace. Along with this he said, ‘When any problem cannot be solved by sitting, then only the war begins. Prime Minister Modi’s message that the war should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy is being taken very well. But talks do not always solve the problem. Just like you cannot resolve Ladakh through talks, you cannot even talk on PoK, sometimes you are forced to take up arms.
How Patna’s Abhay became MLA of Russia
Abhay Kumar Singh, the only Hindu MLA of President Vladimir Putin’s party, is originally from Patna, Bihar. In the 1990s, he went to Russia to study medicine and then took citizenship there. There Abhay contested the elections on the ticket of Vladimir Putin’s ‘United Russia’ party and after registering victory, he became a deputy in the government of the Russian state of Kursk.
