The army reached Stalingrad in Russia, a fierce battle took place between the two countries, but no result was achieved till the end of November. During this time, severe cold started in Russia. Many German soldiers were killed in the war, the soldiers’ ration was also on the verge of ending, there were no weapons left to fight the war. The German army had no other option but to surrender.

With the desire to defeat Russia, Hitler sent millions of German soldiers, thousands of tanks and armored cannons to Kursk. Germany’s Operation Barbarossa begins from here. The war between Russia and Germany continued for almost 1 year in these areas. Against Germany’s expectations, the Russian army performed brilliantly and defeated Germany. In this fierce war, more than 2 lakh German soldiers were killed and more than 1 thousand tanks were also destroyed. In the Second World War, the army of the Soviet Union, that is, the Russian army, tasted victory in August 1943 at this very place.
