Australia dropped opener Nathan McSweeney and included 19-year-old young batsman Sam Konstas in the team. McSweeney’s bat did not play in the first 3 Test matches against India, after which Cricket Australia dropped him. But McSweeney did not give up and went to play in the Big Bash League.
