The total attendance in the first two days was 63,670 spectators. There are still three days left in this match and there is a strong possibility of breaking the record number of spectators for a Test match in ‘Western Australia’.

The current record is 1,03,440, which was set during the 2006–07 Ashes Test at the ‘WACA’ Stadium. To surpass this number, 39,771 viewers are needed in the next three days. A record 31,302 spectators were present at the stadium on the first day of the Test, surpassing the single-day record of 22,178 achieved at the ‘WACA’ on the second day of the 2017 Ashes Test. India’s victory in this test match is considered almost certain. This is because till now the chasing team has never won at this venue. Team India can put pressure on the hosts by gaining a big lead.
