Tata Curvv’s crash test done, does the SUV pass or fail in strength? Know how much rating you got


New Delhi. Tata Motors cars have always been known for safety among Indian customers, and once again the company has proved its reputation. The recently launched Tata Curvv and Tata Curve EV have received a full 5-star rating for family safety in the India NCAP crash test.

According to a report by HT Auto, Tata Curve has got 29.5 points out of 32 in adult safety and 43.66 points in child safety. At the same time, Tata Curve EV has scored 30.81 out of 32 points in adult protection and 44.83 out of 49 points in child protection. These ratings once again prove the safety of the car.

Three engine options
Customers get three powertrain options in Tata Curve. The first is a 1.2-litre GDI petrol engine, which generates power of 125bhp and peak torque of 225Nm. The second option is 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which gives power of 120bhp and torque of 170Nm. Apart from this, the car also has the option of 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is capable of generating power of 118bhp and torque of 260Nm. The option of manual and automatic gearbox is available in all engine variants.

The Tata Curve has a long list of premium features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 10.25-inch digital driver display, 9-speaker JBL sound system, air purifier, panoramic sunroof, multi- Color ambient lighting, ventilated front seats and wireless phone charger are included. In terms of safety, this car also provides a high level of security, with 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS technology.

Price and Variants
The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Curve in the Indian market starts from Rs 10 lakh and the price of the top model goes up to Rs 19 lakh. This new offering from Tata can be a great option for those customers who are looking for a premium car that comes with style, power and safety.
