Study says 70 percent people optimistic about education system of india


Due to the frequent efforts in India’s education, people’s trust in the education system is increasing. A report has revealed that India has emerged as one of the most masters in the world in the mamale of education and social-economic mobility. 70 percent of people have expressed confidence in India’s education system and social-economic mobileity, while globally only 30 percent of the people were optimistic about their country’s education system.

The Educational Testing Service (ETS) Human Progress Report states that India is quite optimistic about its educational system, while people from other countries of the world have been disappointed in their country’s education system. This report is based on a study done on 1,80,000 people in 18 countries.

Confidence of further improvement in future

This report states that only 30% of people worldwide have hoped for betterment about their country’s current educational system. Whereas, 70% of Indians involved in this study adopted a positive attitude regarding the education system of their country. The report further stated that 76 percent of the people in India have relied on further improvement in their country’s current education system, while 64 percent of the people globally expressed confidence in their country’s education system.

These challenges in India’s education system

In this report, the current challenges in India’s education system have also been focused. It says that access to people’s education and lack of teachers in India remains the main challenge. Many people involved in the study have also accepted the challenges spread in India’s education system. 84 percent of the people have admitted that access to quality education is still difficult. At the same time, 78 percent of the people have said that education opportunities are limited to some privileged groups. Apart from this, 74 percent have pointed to the shortage of teachers.

Employment opportunities

Even though Indians have increased trust in education system and social-Ilonomic Mobility, but lack of economic obstacles and employment opportunities remains a problem. 40 percent of Indians in the study described the lack of employment as a major problem, while the global average was 34 percent. At the same time, 33 percent of people in India consider expensive education as a big issue, this figure is only 28 percent in the world.
