Today i.e. on November 19, the Sensex closed at the level of 77,578 with a gain of 240 points. Nifty rose 65 points. It closed at 23518. However, the Sensex saw a fall of 873 points from the day’s high. In the morning the Sensex was up by about 1000 points. Nifty slipped 262 points from the above level.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 saw a rise and 12 saw a decline. Today, more gains were seen in auto, energy and IT shares. M&M shares rose by 3% and Tata Motors shares rose by about 1.3%.
Mixed business for Asian markets
- In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei gained 0.51%. Whereas Korea’s Kospi saw a rise of 0.12% and China’s Shanghai Composite saw a fall of 0.67%.
- On November 18, America’s Dow Jones fell 0.13% and closed at 43,389. The S&P 500 rose 0.39% to 5,893 and the Nasdaq rose 0.60% to 18,791.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,403 crore on November 18. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹2,330 crore.
Mama Earth’s shares fell 11%
There was a sharp fall in the shares of Mama Earth’s parent company ‘Hosana Consumer’ today. The company’s shares fell 11.61% and closed at Rs 262.75. Earlier yesterday also a decline of 20% was seen in the company’s shares.
Actually, this decline in the stock is being seen due to the poor quarterly results of the company. In the July-September period, Honasa Consumer posted a loss of Rs 19 crore, compared to a profit of Rs 29 crore in the year-ago period.
NTPC Green Energy IPO will open from today
The IPO of NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of government company NTPC, will open from today. Investors will be able to bid for this public issue till November 22. Manaba Finance signs MoU with Piaggio
Manaba Finance Limited, a leasing non-banking finance company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (PVPL). Due to this news, Manba Finance shares closed at Rs 148.70 today with a rise of 1.43%.
This collaboration aims to provide customers with tailored financing solutions with low down payment options, competitive interest rates and loan tenure of up to four years. Covering both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) variants, the partnership supports India’s EV transition while encouraging entrepreneurship in the 3W segment. Special financing is also available for women entrepreneurs.
There was a decline in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 18th November, a decline was seen in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 77,339 with a fall of 241 points. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 78 points, it closed at the level of 23,453.
Sensex trending on Google
Sensex today closed at 77,578 with a gain of 240 points. Since then, Sensex is being searched continuously on Google. If we look at Google Trends of the last 30 days, it is clear that the graph of searching for Sensex has increased rapidly.
