General Intelligence and Reasoning
In this section, questions will be asked from verbal and non-verbal reasoning. In this, your logical thinking and problem solving ability will be tested. Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization and orientation, problem solving and analysis, decision making ability, visual memory, coding-decoding, statement conclusion and syllogistic reasoning are such topics on which special attention should be paid.
Quantitative Aptitude (Maths)
The Quantitative Aptitude section of SSC CGL will have questions based on mathematical skills. This part will test your numerical and calculation ability. Some of the major topics covered in it are number system, percentage, profit and loss, trigonometry, graphs and charts, height and distance.
