New Delhi. After Prithvi Shaw’s exit from the Mumbai cricket team, similar news has come about Sanju Samson. Kerala announced its team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Tuesday. Kerala selectors have dropped captain Sanju Samson from the team. Sanju Samson captained Kerala in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Vijay Hazare Trophy is a List A tournament (50-50 overs), which will be played from December 19. Sanju Samson recently scored a century in an ODI match for India. In such a situation, his not being selected in the List A team is surprising. However, according to the report of Indian Express, the reason for this could be disciplinary. According to this report, Sanju Samson did not participate in the practice camp of Kerala cricket team. For this reason he has not been selected in the team.

Kerala team has been placed in E group of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Baroda, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Bengal, Tripura and Bihar are also included in this group. Kerala’s first match will be played against Baroda in Hyderabad on 23 December.

Just a day before, Mumbai has announced its team for Vijay Hazare Trophy. Prithvi Shaw has not been included in this team. After this, Prithvi Shaw shared his figures on Instagram story and wrote along with it, ‘Oh God, what will I have to see now.’
