Indian Mobile Congress 2024: Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in partnership with Qualcomm. The company has named this phone Redmi A4 5G. The company has shown this phone in the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC 2024). This smartphone works on Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 mobile platform. The company has said that this is the first smartphone in India to work on this chipset. Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset is an SoC built on 4nm process. Redmi has also given an idea of the price of this budget smartphone.
Redmi said on this occasion that it is the first smartphone in India to come with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. It is going to significantly improve the entry-level smartphone experience in India by providing advanced 5G connectivity to millions of people. It is made on 4nm process. It has a 50MP rear camera. There is also a secondary camera, details of which have not been revealed yet. 3.5 mm audio jack is also available in this smartphone.

Talking about the features, the new Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip has been given 90fps FHD+ display. It has dual 12-bit ISP camera support. Furthermore, it packs a powerful modem for gigabit 5G connectivity. It supports dual-frequency GNSS (L1 + L5), which also includes NAVIC. The company has given many more features in this phone, but these have not been fully disclosed yet.

Redmi A4 5G will be launched in India soon. Talking about the price, the company has not disclosed it yet. However, the company has said that its price will be less than Rs 10 thousand.
