New Delhi. India and America are working fast to finalize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s US visit this month. The journey can take place after the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit to be held on 10-11 February in France.

The tour was discussed between Prime Minister Modi and US President Donald Trump in a telephone conversation on January 27. Foreign Ministry (Mea) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal on Friday informed the media that the visit is being planned to further strengthen the widespread global strategic partnership between the two countries. The final decision will be taken soon on travel dates.

Indo-US relations will get new strength in Trump 2.0
During this visit, Prime Minister Modi and President Trump will discuss important issues to further strengthen bilateral relations. PM Modi will be one of the first foreign leaders to visit the White House during Trump’s second presidential tenure.

In an interview to news agency IANS, former Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla said,

Indo-US relations will get further depth in Trump 2.0 term. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar’s presence in the US Parliament (Capital Hill) and the personal invitation received by PM Modi indicates that the Indo-US partnership is going to reach new heights.

Shringla also said that this is a suitable time to move forward with America on business and strategic issues. He said, ‘President Trump has an independent and strong mandate this time. In this tenure, the possibilities of getting more strength to Indo-US relations are strong.

Modi-Trump’s ‘special chemistry’ will be seen again
Shringla further said that there is a special synergy between PM Modi and President Trump. Large events like ‘Houston, 2019) and’ Namaste Trump ‘(Ahmedabad, 2020) are evidence of this deep friendship.

‘There is mutual respect and deep confidence between the two leaders, which will further strengthen bilateral relations.’

Possibility of Trump’s visit to India
