Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: There is big news for the youth who dream of a government job in the police department. Odisha Government has issued a notification for recruitment to the vacant posts of Police Sub-Inspector (SI). The application process for this recruitment has started from 20 January 2025. Interested candidates can apply online till 20 February 2025.
Through this recruitment drive, a total of 609 posts of Sub Inspector will be recruited in the state. Under the campaign, 253 posts of Sub Inspector Armed will be filled. Also, this campaign will recruit 47 posts of Station Officer Fire Service and 24 posts of Assistant Jailer.
Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be considered eligible for physical standard and efficiency test. The application link has been activated on the official website of Odisha Police, odishapolice.gov.in.
Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: Required educational qualification
To apply for this recruitment, it is necessary for the candidate to be a graduate in any subject from a recognized university. For the post of Station Officer Fire Service, the candidate should be a graduate in Science or Engineering.
Odisha Police Recruitment 2025: Age Limit
Talking about the age limit of the candidates, according to the notification, the minimum age of the applicant has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age is 25 years. Reserved category candidates have been given relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2024.
