Wilmington (USA). Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached America on Saturday to participate in the QUAD summit. Before participating in the summit, PM Modi met US President Joe Biden. During this, President Biden himself welcomed PM Modi. Biden first hugged PM Modi and then held his hand and took him inside his house. Many issues including the Russia-Ukraine conflict are expected to be discussed between the two leaders. During the meeting at Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware, the two leaders will also discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic relationship.
According to US National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan, the war and Modi’s recent visit to Ukraine are expected to figure prominently in the bilateral meeting. PM Modi, who arrived in America on a three-day visit, will also hold separate bilateral meetings with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Both the leaders have come here to attend the Quad summit. PM Modi, in his statement in Delhi before leaving for the US, had said, ‘My meeting with President Biden will give us a new perspective to further deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of our people and global well-being. Will provide an opportunity to review and identify methods.

After reaching Wilmington (Delaware), Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on Earlier, a large group of Indian expatriates welcomed PM Modi at the Philadelphia International Airport, from where he left for President Biden’s hometown Wilmington. PM Modi greeted a group of people dressed in traditional dress, many of whom held the Indian tricolor. In another post on X, Modi said, ‘A warm welcome to Philadelphia!
