Panipat Accident: 6-year-old girl who went on a private school tour drowned in a water park and died

Panipat. A 6-year-old girl drowned in a water park in Panipat, Haryana. By the time the girl was taken out, she had died. The girl was brought here for a trip with her school teachers. The girl has been identified as Hiteshi Jain, resident of Sanjay Colony, Street No. 1. At present, the school management has been accused of negligence and the police have registered a case.

Actually, when all the children were bathing in the water park, the girl drowned in the suspicious water park. After a long time, when the girl was taken out of the water, she was unconscious and the teachers took her to a nearby private hospital, where the doctor declared her dead. The girl’s father Rajesh Jain told that he lives in Sanjay Colony and he had 3 daughters. All three daughters study in Guru Dronacharya Public School located in the colony. On Thursday, the school tour went to Kingland Water Park, Asandh Road. In the afternoon, a call came from Rainbow Hospital located at Ramlal Chowk and told that his 6-year-old daughter Hiteshi died due to drowning in the water park.

The father said that his daughter died due to the negligence of the school. The water park owners are also negligent in this. The family said that the water park has the biggest responsibility and negligence in the case of the children’s death. The family alleged that the operators did not provide life jackets, nor water tubes. There was no such thing as first aid in the water park. The family has demanded the administration to check the security system of all water parks. The family alleges that the school teachers enjoy themselves with the money meant for the children’s tours and do not pay attention to the children.

Police is investigating the matter

Investigating officer Pawan Kumar said that he had received information from the city hospital that a 6-year-old girl had died while bathing in a water park. As soon as he received the information, he reached the hospital, took the body in his custody and after conducting the post-mortem, handed it over to the family. The family has lodged a complaint against the school operator and the water park operator and the matter is being investigated.
