B.Ed and D.Ed Fraud : After the nursing college scam in Madhya Pradesh, a new fraud involving B.Ed and D.Ed colleges has come to light. The Special Task Force (STF) has registered FIRs against six colleges in the Gwalior region. Notices have also been issued to the heads of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Jiwaji University. The investigation will reveal how many degrees these fake colleges have issued and the extent of their network.

Jiwaji University in Gwalior, which holds an A++ grade, has been notorious for corruption and fraud. This time, it is under the STF’s scrutiny. The STF has issued notices to the NCTE and Jiwaji University regarding the fraudulent B.Ed and D.Ed colleges in the Gwalior region.

The notices demand explanations about which officials conducted inspections for these colleges and who issued the suitable reports. The basis on which these fake colleges received recognition is also under question. Once Jiwaji University provides the necessary information, it is expected that the guilty officials and employees involved in this fraud will face consequences.

Arrests to Follow After Investigation The STF is currently investigating the matter and will file additional FIRs and make arrests once the investigation is complete. The role of NCTE and Jiwaji University employees is also being examined. Jiwaji University management has stated that they have received the notice from the STF and are providing all the requested information, fully cooperating with the investigation.
