Under the captaincy of Nikki Prasad, the Indian team (Sunday) defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the final on February 2 and won the title for the second consecutive time. Yes. Trisha dismissed 3 batsmen for 15 runs and then took an unbeaten innings of 44 runs to the team to win.

South Africa captain Kayla Renike decided to bat first in the final match on Sunday but the Indian bowlers proved the decision wrong. India’s spin trio dismissed the entire team for just 82 runs in 20 overs. Trisha took the most 3 wickets while Ayushi Shukla, Parunika Sisodia and Vaishnavi Sharma took two wickets each. Losing 1 wicket in 11.2 overs, India achieved the target of victory and became the World Champion for the second consecutive time.
