Musk’s Doge Department posted on X and informed about it.
Ilon Musk, an associate of US President Donald Trump, has canceled the funding to increase voters’ participation in India’s election. The Mask -led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) took this decision on Saturday.
Doge has released a list by posting on X. This includes all the canceled expenses by the department. This list also includes funding for voters participation in India.
Doge wrote that all these expenses incurred on the money of American taxpayers have been canceled.
BJP questioned funding in election
BJP leader Amit Malviya has reacted to DOGE’s decision. In this, he questioned the funding of 190 crores in India’s election. Malaviya called it external intervention in India’s election.
Malaviya questioned who would benefit from this fund. The BJP leader said that this will definitely not benefit the ruling (BJP).
Mask met PM Modi 3 days ago
PM Modi, who went on a US visit, met DOGE chief Ellon Musk on Thursday, February 13. Musk reached Blair House to meet the PM.
According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, there was a discussion between Musk and Modi to strengthen cooperation between Indian and American institutions besides Innovation, Space, Artificial Intelligence.
PM Modi shared pictures of Ilon Musk on his X account. He wrote, ‘I met Ilon Musk well. We interacted on many issues. These included issues that Musk is very obsessed with. Such as space, mobility, technology and innovation. I talked to him about India’s efforts to promote ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Government’.
