Mohammed Shami, who plays for Bengal, will be seen in the field once. He will be seen playing for Bengal under the captaincy of captain Sudeep Kumar Gharami.

The Bengal team will leave for Hyderabad from Kolkata on Wednesday (18 December). After being out of the quarter-finals in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Bengal will aim to perform better in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and reach the finals. Bengal has been placed in Group E of the Vijay Hazare Trophy along with Bihar, Kerala, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Baroda. All the group stage matches of Bengal will be played in Hyderabad only.
