Mahindra to Start Bookings of XEV 9e And BE 6 Electric SUVs From Next Week, Tata Motors

Booking for Mahindra & Mahindra’s Electric SUVs – XEV 9E and BE 6 will start from 14 February. The company has made BE 6 available in five variants. The prices of BE 6 are between Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The XEV 9E has four variants. Its prices are between about 21.90 lakh rupees and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra has reported that customers can add models and variants of their choice with six furvi on the company’s website. However, for these electric SUVs, AC Wall Box Charger will be paid the price. The company has fixed a price of about Rs 50,000 of 7.7 kw AC charger and about Rs 75,000 for a charger of 11.2 kW. The XEV 9E and BE 6 have received a five-star rating in the India NCAP crash test.

The company claims that the range of BE 6’s 59 kwh battery pack variants is about 535 km and 79 kwh about 682 kilometers. The range of 59 kwh battery packs of XEV 9E is about 542 km and 79 kwh variants of about 656 km. At the end of the previous year, Mahindra decided to temporarily change the name of Electric SUV Be 6e to ‘Be 6’. The Interglobe Aviation, which runs the IndiGo airline, had described the ‘6e’ trademark as its own and filed a petition against the company in this Delhi High Court.

Interglobe Aviation said in this petition that for the last 18 years ‘6e’ is a significant part of his identity and a registered trademark. According to a statement given by the company, ‘6e’s standalone or any other way unauthorized indigo violates the rights, prestige and credibility of Indigo. Indigo is committed to take all necessary and appropriate steps to protect its intellectual property and brand identity. A statement given by Mahindra said about this dispute, “The company’s Be 6E market is not 6E. We believe it is different from Indigo’s 6E, which represents an airline. The application of registration is for a completely separate industry and product. ”
