Lockie Ferguson new record: Lockie Ferguson from New Zealand became the first bowler to deliver four overs without allowing any runs in a T20 World Cup game. This happened in New Zealand’s final group match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Papua New Guinea, where he took 3 wickets and didn’t give up any runs in his 4 overs. However, New Zealand was already out of the competition after defeats to Afghanistan and West Indies.

The only other bowler to do this was Canada’s Saad Bin Zafar in 2021 during a T20 World Cup Americas Regional Qualifier game against Panama.
