Kanchenjunga Train Accident Real Video : A cargo train crashed into the Kanchanjunga Express in Darjeeling, West Bengal. This caused two coaches of the express train to derail. The accident happened on Monday morning (June 17, 2024). It caused a lot of fear at the site, and many people were injured.
A senior officer from the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) told PTI, a news agency, that the Kanchanjunga Express was heading to Sealdah (West Bengal) when it collided with a cargo train near New Jalpaiguri. The train was coming from Agartala and had an accident near Rangapani at about 9 am.
The news agency ANI shared a short video on Twitter showing what happened after the accident. The eight-second video shows the damaged coach with people looking very shocked and worried.

The Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, expressed regret about the accident. He said on Twitter, “This unfortunate accident in the NFR zone is being addressed quickly. The Railways, NDRF, and SDRF are all working together. Injured people have been taken to nearby hospitals. Senior officers are also there to assist.”
