Jaguar is now going to enter the fully-electric car market. The company has teased its four-door electric GT prototype with camouflage, which shows the car with a long bonnet and a sloping roofline. Although camouflaged, the pictures point to Jaguar adopting a new design style. The electric GT is expected to be made available in the market in 2026.
The company says that the prototype of the all-electric four-door GT has completed thousands of kilometers of virtual and physical testing and will soon be taken out for testing on various roads around the world.
The shared images show Jaguar’s signature grille on the electric GT. It has a long bonnet and the roofline slopes towards the rear. Its long wheelbase indicates more cabin space. After coming into the market, this top-of-the-line electric car from Jaguar will compete with existing models like Audi e-tron GT, Porsche Taycan, Mercedes-Benz EQS.
The upcoming electric GT will be built on the new Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA). It is expected to have a range of around 700 km on full charge. Not only this, it is likely to have a power of 600 BHP. Jaguar is going to present its new presentation to the world with the Design Vision Concept on December 2 at Miami Art Week.
