Fabrizio Longo was just a few meters away from reaching the top of the mountain when he lost his balance.
Fabrizio Longo (62 years), the chief of luxury car brand Audi in Italy, died after falling from a 10,000 feet high mountain. He was climbing the Adamello mountain peak near the Italy-Switzerland border on Saturday.
Shortly before reaching the peak, he lost his balance and fell into a deep ravine. One of his companions present there informed the rescue team about this. After this, the helicopter team started searching for him. His body was found lying 700 feet below. He was declared dead there.

The accident happened even after adopting safety measures Longo’s body has been kept in Carisolo Hospital for further investigation. According to a report in the British newspaper Sun, Longo was wearing all the safety equipment when he fell into the ditch. The police is investigating how this accident happened despite adopting safety measures.
Police said that the situation will become clear only after the postmortem report comes. After the postmortem, his body will be handed over to the family after which his funeral will be announced.
