The Indian Army has killed 7 Pakistani intruders on the India-Pakistan border (control line, LOC). These included 2-3 Pakistani soldiers.
According to media reports, these people were trying to infiltrate on the night of 4-5 February. The incident is from the Krishna Valley sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports claimed that the objective of the intruders was to target the Indian post.
Pakistan PM said about discussion on Kashmir issue
On 5 February, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan wants to resolve all issues including Kashmir through negotiations with India. Shahbaz Sharif made this statement while addressing the ‘Kashmir solidarity rally’ in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan -occupied Kashmir.
Sharif, referring to the cancellation of Article-370, said that India should come out of the thinking of 5 August 2019 and and should fulfill the promises made to the United Nations and start negotiations.
He had said that the only way for Pakistan and India to move forward is the dialogue, as it has already been written in the 1999 Lahore manifesto, which was agreed during the visit of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee during the visit of Pakistan. Read full news …

Landmine Blast near LoC: 6 soldiers injured, soldier was accidentally foot during patrolling
On 14 January in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, 6 jawans of Gorkha Rifles were injured in the Landmine Blast near LoC. The blast took place in Makri area of Bhavani sector at 10:45 am.
