Jose Butler has praised Abhishek Sharma.
Butler said at a press conference after the match, “We are definitely very disappointed with such results. India batted brilliantly. I think the credit goes to Abhishek Sharma. His innings is one of the best examples of ‘Clean Hitting’. We always consider what we can do and how to curb it. But there are also a few days when you have to give more credit to your opponent. I believe he batted well. ”
Butler said, “I think there is no right word. When a player comes into the rhythm, it performs similar. You must have seen his performance from Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, due to which he made it to the Indian team. Except for the fifth match, we presented a good challenge in every match. We won the match in Rajkot. As we gain experience, we get more committed to our style. ”
Abhishek completed his century off 37 balls, which is the second fastest hundred from India in this format. He hit 13 sixes in his innings which is Indian record. With his brilliant performance, India won this match by 150 runs and won the series 4–1.
