Sports Desk, Indore. Former Indian captain Virat Kohli was seen cheering Team India in the first practice session at Gabba in Brisbane before the third Test of the five-match Test series between India and Australia. Kohli gave a rousing pep talk to his teammates on Thursday.

Vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah was also involved in this. The Rohit Sharma-led team reached Brisbane on Wednesday morning and started their practice in Brisbane the next day at 9:30 pm local time. He took part in a four-hour training session where the Indian batsmen and bowlers sweated ahead of the third Test this weekend.

Despite losing to Australia by 10 wickets in the second Test in Adelaide last week, Team India was in a good mood. Head coach Gautam Gambhir was also seen addressing the team. His manner of address was quite serious, as all the players were listening to him attentively.

Kohli batted fast during practice. He was also seen leaving the balls brilliantly outside the off stump. His footwork was also excellent.

At which number will Rohit Sharma bat?

It will be interesting to see whether Rohit will continue to bat at number 6 or bat as an opener in the upcoming match. Rohit had given up his opener position in the second Test match to allow Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul to continue opening.

Jasprit Bumrah fit, sigh of relief

The visiting team came to life when star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah dispelled the injury fears. Bumrah was seen bowling at full speed during the training session on Thursday. He suffered a back injury in the second Test match and was seen falling to the ground during the first innings.
