Washington: The atmosphere in America is heated regarding the presidential election. Former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump is seen campaigning more strongly after the attack on him. Meanwhile, he has given a big statement. In his first campaign rally after the incident, he announced that he “took a bullet for democracy.”

Trump repeatedly mentioned the assassination attempt

Had I been shot, I would not be here in front of you today.” Trump repeatedly referred to the assassination attempt and expressed gratitude for surviving the incident. He said, “I hope I don’t have to do it again. It was very terrible.”
Biden is weak and old – Trump
At the rally, attended by Trump with his newly-nominated running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, the Republican presidential nominee launched a scathing attack on Democratic rivals and mocked US President Joe Biden as a “frail old man”. He criticised the leadership chaos within the Democratic Party, saying, “They don’t know who their candidate is, and neither do we.”
