The protesters allegedly attacked people outside the temple and beat them with sticks. That policeman was also seen in the crowd of attackers. However, now the Canadian police has shared the bodycam footage of the police officer involved in the scuffle outside the temple. Peel police said an investigation into the melee found the officer was “attempting to disarm a man who refused to drop his weapon and was confronted.” “During the protest it became clear that tensions were rising, and people’s safety had become a concern,” Peel police said. For the safety of everyone present there, it was decided to confiscate all those things which could be used as weapons.
