Google Play Store Apps: Tech giant Google has decided to remove some apps from the Play Store. The company will soon remove low-quality and non-functional apps from the Play Store. The company is starting work on this project from July 31, 2024. Actually, Google is updating its spam and minimum functionality policy. The company has taken this decision in this regard. Under this policy, the company will ensure that users get only such apps which are made keeping in mind Google’s higher standards.
The company is preparing to remove those apps which are producing very little content and are made for a specific purpose. The effect of this policy of the company will be seen on those apps which are not showcasing their specific functionality on the Play Store. The company can soon take a decision on such apps.
Such apps will be removed
These apps also include text only apps, single wallpaper apps. Apart from this, those apps will also be removed which fail to provide user experience. Apart from this, the company has also decided to remove those apps which are not able to install properly or are crashing repeatedly.
Google said this in its policy update
Google has said in its policy update that apps that are not able to provide stable, responsive experience to the users will be removed. The company is going to take this decision to improve the quality of the platform. Let us tell you that in the year 2023 also, the company had removed 2.28 million such apps from the platform. Apart from this, the company also rejected about 200,000 app submissions.
