With the help of this feature, you can get real time Air Quality Index (AQI) data from anywhere on your phone while sitting at home. With the help of this feature, you can get information about air quality at a particular location from anywhere.

You can get real time Air Quality Index (AQI) information only through Google Maps. This feature is available in 40 countries. This feature is going to be especially useful for traveling people. If you are going to a new place, then you can know in advance about the air quality there through this feature.

Know how you can use this feature

1. First of all, update the Google Maps app present in your smartphone.

2. After this, search the place for which you want to know the air quality by writing its name in the search bar.

3. If you searched by typing Delhi, you will now see a square stack icon near the map and search bar, click on it.

4. After this, many options will open in front of you, out of which you have to choose the option of ‘Air Quality’.

5. Then your area and numbers from 0 to 500 will appear in front of you. There will be a white dot in the middle of this number, which will tell about the air quality of your area.

How to identify air quality index

Let us tell you that the numbers between 0 to 50 indicate good air quality. Numbers from 51 to 100 indicate less than very good. After this the numbers 101 to 200 indicate the normal situation. Numbers 201 to 300 are in a bad situation. Whereas the numbers 301 to 400 are in a very bad situation. If this number is from 401 to 500 then it is for a very bad situation.
