One round is counted

Like the Delhi Assembly elections, the counting of votes is round wise in every election. That is, after completion of the count of 14 EVMs, one round is completed. Such assembly elections have different rounds. After the counting of each round, the figures are updated on the Election Commission website, so that transparency in counting is maintained. When the counting of all rounds is completed, the candidate is declared a win.

What a certificate is available

Returning Officer (RO) is appointed in every constituency in the assembly elections. These officers have full responsibility ranging from voting to counting. After the counting of each round, the data is given to the Returning Officer. When the counting of all rounds is completed, then the returning officers announce the winning candidate in the election. After this, the winning candidate is given a Certificate of Election vehicle election certificate by the Returning Officer. This certificate is proof of victory in the election.
